In Copenhagen, we have a partnership with the Green Mobility electric free-float carsharing platform. The aim is to get more electric vehicles into urban areas and reduce air pollution and carbon emissions. However, the vehicles must not be parked so that they block access to the concourse in front of the charging stations and prevent other drivers from charging. We are therefore in talks with Green Mobility about the situation and jointly urging the users of the carsharing scheme to show consideration by only parking at the charging stations when actually charging the vehicles.
We are also in talks with City of Copenhagen, which sets the current parking rules. We aim for the rules to be changed so that the stations can only be used for charging, and preferably within a time limit.
